One of our people goes to the property and video-calls you from inside it. You ask the questions, we point the camera. Cupboards, bathroom, the road outside, the neighbours — whatever you would have checked yourself.

Managed hostel chains offer virtual tours of their own buildings. Nobody else will do it for an independent place, which is where the rent is reasonable and the photos are usually worst.
